RN: Julio enjoying getting around on his own

Julio Antonio Hurtado is 57 years old and lives in the municipality of Mateare. On January 18, 2002, Julio suffered a motorcycle accident, which left him with severe spinal injuries. Doctors concluded that Julio would never be able to walk again. However, despite this diagnosis, Julio did not lose his faith in God and continues to believe that someday he will walk again.

While he works everyday to achieve his goal, The Rainbow Network wanted to make sure that Julio had access to as much independence as possible. He has been provided with much-needed transportation and has been enjoying getting around on his own.

Julio told Rainbow Network staff in Nicaragua that he sends his greatest thanks and blessings to The Rainbow Network and the supporters that make these miracles possible!
