Today, September 17, we filled a 40′ container with 187 adult carts and 49 small carts from Holland, MI. It is officially on its way to Malawi. West Michigan reported that they were sending 50 carts with us but we are holding one cart for the next container.
We are also celebrating with our distribution partners — The Malawi Project and Action for Progress — as they dedicated their new distribution center in the capital city of Lilongwe, Malawi this very day.
The last 2 containers we sent to Malawi were kept on-site to house the carts until they were distributed and then the containers have served as storage and office space for our partners. Now they will be able to put our carts in their new warehouse.
