From Global Village Foundation. Bali:

Saturday 3rd April 2021.
Gede Bagus is 35 years old. He lives in Kintamani, high the mountains of North Bali, He is leg disabled, as a result of contracting Polio as a child. He is cared for by his Mother, and younger brother. His Father passed away some years ago.
The family are tenant farmers earning a small living growing Oranges, a very popular crop in the Kintamani area.
Gede helps out in the Orange Groves, doing the groundwork, and lower-level pruning of the trees etc.
Before today Gede would crawl several hundred meters each day to get to the Oranges.
Today the team, joined with team members from Yayasan Bunga Bali to deliver to him his first-ever wheelchair, a tough terrain MOBILITY WORLDWIDE Mobility Cart.
Moving around the neighborhood, and traveling to and from the Groves will now be much easier for him on his new Cart.
The team also delivered a new water Filter system for Gede & his Mother bringing clean fresh drinking water to the family for the first time,
Bunga Bali provided today’s Food Aid package & Bedding for the family.
Thank you very much to Mobility Worldwide, to Natalia Setyawati, & the Bunga Bali team for your collaboration, to Schoonwater Projecten Indonesie for today’s water filter.
And to all our friends of GVF, who continue to support us during these difficult times. God Bless you.
