East Java. Indonesia. 24 – 28 November 2021
During the team’s recent Wheelchair Distribution visit to East Java, they had the privilege to distribute 15 MOBILITY WORLDWIDE Mobility Carts to 15 incredibly positive young people living with severe physical disability.
Many of these young people traveled considerable distances from their homes throughout Banyuwangi Province, East Java, to attend this Mobility Cart distribution, and to receive their new Mobility carts from the team.
None of the 15 recipients had ever owned a wheelchair before.
Very special days for each of them as they received their first ever wheelchairs, and very special days too for the team to witness the joy and the laughter of these young people as they received the gift of independent mobility for the first time.
Global Village Foundation hopes to bring many more Mobility Carts, & other Mobility Aids to East Java in the very near future.
