Having delivered the new wheelchair to Pak Nyoman in Wanagiri, the team headed south to the Yayasan de Legong in Singapadu Village, near Ubud, to meet a very happy young man named Kadek,
Kadek is 7 years old, from Tabanan in Central Bali
Kadek was born with mild Cerebral palsy, and is currently receiving regular physiotherapy at the Legong Therapy center.
The team were pleased to provide, assemble and fit young Kadek with his first wheelchair, a MOBILITY WORLDWIDE, Junior Mobility Cart.
As can clearly be seen in the photos he was overjoyed to finally have independent mobility.
With continued therapy it is hoped that one day Kadek will walk, and no longer need his Mobility Cart.
In the meantime, he is going to have a lot of fun with his new Cart. He will be able to attend school when the new school year starts next month. He can also go out to play now with friends in his Tabanan neighborhood, & enjoy his new found mobility.
