Semeni is 8 years old. One year ago a car ran over her legs. She lost one leg at the knee and the other leg was not set straight. Her Father is the Assistant to the Minister of Land, Energy & Water. Giving Semeni a PET Cart filled her and her parents’ hearts with joy. Ron was also filled with joy to see the smiles on their faces.
They are better known as Carros PET (Personal Energy Transportation) that help in mobilizing people adults with disabilities driving in the lower limbs (Legs) and have with three rubber tires air filled replaceable and a system of catalina to be pedaled with arms.
They are built in a mixed form, its base is metal and wooden crate, allowing a slight movement. They have a handbrake made of metal that immobilizes
the chair in its entirety giving operator safety.
PET are the carts 168 Guayaquil Welfare Board received for donation. Those interested should attend to the central office in 109 Vélez and Pedro Carbo, third floor, Department of Foreign Affairs. ROMO

“102 PETs were shipped from the Brazos Valley PET shop this morning. They are scheduled to arrive at the Naval Station, San Diego on Friday morning to be sent with the USNS Mercy to Vietnam as part of Project Handclasp (not to be confused with Operation Handclasp), Hearts for Hue and the D.O.V.E. fund.

I have learned that you need to go and wrestle with the potential clients to make sure they have the strength to move them around. He did and he got one.
