Mobility Cart sighting in Honduras

Janet Gilbert in mid MO goes with a medical team to Honduras each year thru Baptist Medical & Dental Fellowship. This year she saw they had some new carts there to distribute. She said this young lady in the picture came in to her clinic with a mother and sister of similar age (both young teens). Neither could walk without assistance. The mother walked with each daughter in and out of the clinic. This daughter seemed to be better able to crank the cart. A small boy/relative about 3 years old hopped into the cargo space and off they went.

She asked the doctor what was their ailment. He did not know, but both had a syndrome.

She also saw more carts in use at a church that had a school.
