Here is a picture of Mary Ellen and me with the recipient of a PET in Fiji in October, 2017. He lost his leg from diabetic complications, and had been “demoted” from his position of chief in the village of Narewa because of his disability. The wheelchair that he had been using was in unsatisfactory condition. Although there is not a big smile on his face in this picture, be assured that there was much joy in the family that day.
