Mobility Worldwide Ambassador Program
The Mobility Worldwide Ambassador Program gives young adults and mid-career professionals the opportunity to use their voices, talents, and communities to advance mobility and disability inclusion.
Throughout the program year, Ambassadors will raise awareness, inspire others to get involved and help provide mobility to people around the world.
The 2026–2027 inaugural Ambassador cohort is invitation only.
Become an Ambassador for Mobility
Mobility Worldwide Ambassadors are young adults (16–35) who want to make a difference, build leadership skills and introduce more people to the mission of Mobility Worldwide. Ambassadors represent Mobility Worldwide in their schools, workplaces, churches and communities while gaining hands-on experience in advocacy, fundraising and nonprofit leadership.
What Ambassadors Do
Every Mobility Worldwide Ambassador will focus on three things throughout the program year:
Share the Mobility Worldwide Mission
Help more people learn about Mobility Worldwide and the need for mobility around the world.
Ambassadors can make the program their own. As an ambassador you might give a presentation, speak to a school, church or community group, share Mobility Worldwide stories on social media or find another way to introduce the mission to people in your community.
Lead a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser
Create and promote a fundraiser to help provide mobility equipment to people around the world.
This could be a birthday fundraiser, school fundraiser, community event, athletic event or another creative idea.
Stay Connected
Attend quarterly virtual Ambassador meetings, respond to program communications and share brief updates throughout the year.
What Ambassadors Receive
Ambassadors receive:
- A Mobility Worldwide welcome kit
- Quarterly training and connection with fellow Ambassadors
- Resume-building leadership experience
- Volunteer service hours
- A certificate of completion
- A letter of recommendation upon successful completion
- A LinkedIn recommendation
- Future opportunities to be featured by Mobility Worldwide
Ambassadors may also have opportunities to volunteer with a local Mobility Worldwide affiliate, visit an affiliate shop or participate in Mobility Worldwide events.
Make an Impact
By the end of the program year, each Ambassador will have:
- Led a peer-to-peer fundraiser
- Raised awareness about mobility needs
- Shared the Mobility Worldwide mission with their community
- Developed new leadership and communication skills
- Helped provide mobility equipment to people around the world
2026–2027 Ambassador Cohort
The inaugural 2026–2027 Mobility Worldwide Ambassador cohort will run from October 2026 through August 2027 and will be invitation only.

Who can become a Mobility Worldwide Ambassador?
The program is designed for U.S.-based young adults ages 16–35 who are passionate about making a difference. No previous nonprofit experience or connection to a Mobility Worldwide affiliate is required.
How do I apply?
The 2026–2027 Ambassador cohort is invitation only and will run from October 2026 through August 2027. There is no public application for this cohort.
Future opportunities to apply will be announced by Mobility Worldwide.
Can I receive volunteer hours or put this experience on my resume?
Yes! Ambassadors can receive volunteer hours and gain leadership, communication, fundraising and marketing experience to include on a resume or LinkedIn.
Upon successful completion of the program, Ambassadors will also receive a certificate of completion, letter of recommendation and LinkedIn recommendation.
Do I have to have social media?
Social media can be a great way to share the Mobility Worldwide mission, but it isn’t required.
You can make the program your own by organizing an event, giving a presentation at your school, church or organization, inviting friends to get involved, or finding other ways to reach your community.
Is there a required amount I have to fundraise?
There is no required fundraising amount, but each Ambassador will have a goal of raising $1,000 during the program year. Mobility Worldwide will provide tools, resources and support to help you along the way.
How much time does the program require?
Ambassadors should expect to spend approximately 2–5 hours per month on the program.
