Mobility Worldwide Liberia was established in 2015 to meet a growing need.
Across the country, many individuals were living without mobility due to polio, injury, and limited access to care. For children especially, this often meant being unable to attend school or participate in daily life.
The need was clear. But so was the desire to learn, work, and be part of their communities.
With the support of Margot Newcomb, Ken Graalum, and the Brazos Valley Mobility Shop, Mobility Worldwide Liberia began its work.
Our Mission
To provide mobility to individuals across Liberia, creating opportunities to actively participate in everyday life.
We believe mobility is foundational. It connects people to education, work, and community.
Leadership & Team
Mobility Worldwide Liberia is led by Rev. Rose R. Farhat and Rev. George Wilson.
The local team includes approximately 10 staff and volunteers dedicated to outreach, distribution, and ongoing support.
Where We Work
Mobility Worldwide Liberia currently serves communities in and around Monrovia.
Access to reliable roads and transportation makes this region the most feasible for distribution, though the need extends far beyond.
Partnerships
Mobility Worldwide – Liberia collaborates with:
Local disability organizations
Healthcare providers and small hospitals
Community and church networks
Lions Clubs International
These partnerships strengthen both distribution and long-term impact.
Mobility Changes What's Possible.
It opens the door to education, work, and connection. It restores independence and creates new opportunities for everyday life.
Mobility Worldwide Liberia is committed to serving as many people as possible and expanding access across the country.
No one should be left behind simply because they cannot move.
