Annual Conference Participants help load PET container for Dominican Republic

PET TN-Memphis hosted the PET Mobility Project annual conference September 27-28. One of the highlights for the 114 participants was a tour of the Memphis PET workshop, including assisting and watching the loading of an overseas shipping container with PETs for the Dominican Republic. Three Affiliate workshops provided PETs to fill the container.

Single PET cart reaches disabled man in Yambio, South Sudan

We got a PET over there successfully and assembled it and here is Stephen, the recipient. He makes the chairs on the back and so now can use the PET not only for his personal mobility but also to take his chairs to customers.But I just wanted you to know it did work out; we had to repackage it in 2 boxes of 50 lbs each for Delta to take it as luggage for free(included in ticket). then we paid for it to get flown in on the missionary flight from Uganda to SSudan. But it all went well and now you can see ONE person helped by your device…..

Baptist Missionary Association of America delivers PET carts in Ghana

“Water for Christ an extension project for the Baptist Missionary Association of America has delivered PET carts to the disabled in Ghana. A second shipment of 20 units is being loaded for Ghana next week.”The PET Affiliate in SW MO is again donating the gift of mobility for this second shipment.

“Here are some people I have given some of the PET carts to and they are very happy.”
